I spent a lot of time walking today

There is a phrase that people use, "I see what you did there." It seems pretty self-explanatory, but from how I've seen it used, there seems to be another layer there, one I have not yet cracked. If anyone is in a mood to enlighten, I would appreciate the help.
Royal Oak is an unpleasant place: confusing in its geography, and overpopulated in its number of people there, in the parts I want to be in. It can be fun to be in, though, it has a coney island and many places to eat ice cream. The bad ice cream place closed. Maybe I'll go back someday.
I had completely given up on Linkin Park ever putting out another album of new material, but they were on television tonight. Their new music seems.....incredibly similar to the old music.
I think my mom might finally get cable internet, which will make it easier for me to get news from the outside world.
Tomorrow is the final push on my work this week, then I'll be done. I'm going to try to make it out to Ann Arbor this week, because I haven't seen people in awhile.
That's pretty much it for right now.
